ingrid_tFun short episodesI've only been taking Irene's beginner course, Gustatio Linguae Latinae, for a few months, but I can already understand this podcast well when previously it was unintelligible to me. The engaging short episodes on everyday topics help me learn to converse in Latin. I also recommend her other beginner podcast, Litterae Latinae Simplices, but since that one has subtitles on YouTube I watch it at home, while this one is the perfect companion for my walks.

HomoBerkeleyensisBrilliant teacher! It has been eye-opening for me to experience Latin this way — something I never did in four semesters of college Latin. Optima!

Polyglot4hireI’d pay €€€ for a good transcriptI like the naturalness of your podcast. All it needs is a transcript to help us grasp more as we learn. It would provide added value as a visual reinforcement and could be used with other tools such as LingQ inter alia.

jenmazzonAmazing teacher!!!I'm not sure whether people realize the breath of her online course so I just wanted to jot it down here. It covers Latin language from basic to advance with videos, readings, exercises, lectures and much more. I started this course when I was not even able to say: "Rome is in Italy" and now within few months I can say full blown sentences, chat online, and have conversation with other Latin-speaking peers. The amount of work she has done to develop her course is mind blowing, with patience, dedication, charm, and a commitment to follow up with students daily throughout your journey. I cannot reccommend her teachin skills highly enough. Start anytime, study at your own pace!

David in FezExcellent for Improving your Latin! What a wonderful podcast!! Thank you so much! I’m not very familiar with listening to Latin being spoken, but I’m really able to understand this without too much difficulty. The content is interesting and the language very accessible. I will share it with teachers of Latin I know, as I feel it would greatly benefit their students.

THE EDGE ROCKS!!!!!!Podcast Mirabilis!Irene’s pleasant and engaging manner, combined with her extremely clear and concise Latin make this my new favorite Latin podcast- an absolute pleasure to listen to. The language in her hands comes alive, reminding me of the eloquence and beauty that led me to learn Latin in the first place. -Ryan
